Erika Perry-Dutton, LMFT, is the Co-Owner and Clinical Director of Social Connections Counseling Center (SCCC) and has been providing therapy for over 20 years. She began her career as an ABA therapist while attending UCLA, working with the Lovaas Institute and the Center for Autism & Related Disorders (CARD). Over the years, Erika has gained extensive experience across various mental health settings, including school-based programs, outpatient clinics, intensive in-home services, and residential care for individuals involved in foster care and probation.
Specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities, Erika has also worked with clients facing chronic mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and EMDR, with a strong focus on trauma and helping children, teens, and families. In her seven years as a clinical supervisor, Erika has guided fellow clinicians in developing their professional skills. She is also a dedicated LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist and advocate.
In 2012, Erika began facilitating social skills groups with Zaroff & Zaroff until their retirement in 2018. She then partnered with Danie DeVine to co-found SCCC, where she remains passionate about helping individuals with social challenges build self-esteem and improve their social skills for greater independence and well-being.
Danie DeVine, LMFT, is a licensed psychotherapist and the Co-Owner/Clinical Director of Social Connections Counseling Center (SCCC). With over 20 years of experience, Danie is dedicated to helping his clients maintain healthy, fulfilling relationships and live purposeful, joy-filled lives. His therapeutic approach focuses on transforming maladaptive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, empowering clients to overcome feelings of inadequacy while honoring their unique past experiences.
Danie has a deep commitment to supporting children and families, having worked in both individual and group settings for more than two decades. For over 13 years, he has specialized in providing social skills group services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental delays. His experience extends to community mental health, where he has demonstrated a passion for helping youth in the foster care system.
While working at Zaroff & Zaroff, Danie facilitated social skills and healthy relationship classes for regional consumers. In addition to his group work, he offers individual counseling, addressing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. Danie is also experienced in family and couples therapy, focusing on improving communication and strengthening relationships for over 10 years.
Licensed in California for over four years, Danie continues to offer a range of services including individual therapy, family counseling, and social skills group programs, with a mission to help his clients build healthier lives and stronger connections.
